OUR CLINICIAN
BOB BIDEWELL is retired from almost forty years in the field of church music. He served as choral director, organist, and handbell director for several churches in Arkansas and taught for ten years in public schools. Bob has a Master of Music Education degree from Arkansas State University in Jonesboro. He studied piano with Dr. James Patty and Dr. Theron Waddle. Organ studies have been Dr. Ervin Dunham, Harriett O'Neal, and Dr. Jane Gamble. Bob has obtained the Service Playing Certificate from the American Guild of Organists and has presented recitals in Arkansas, Tennessee, Texas, and Missouri. He served on the board of the Arkansas Chapter
of the Handbell Musicians of America for many years and has served as Dean of the Central Arkansas Chapter of the American Guild of Organists. He is a member of Christ Episcopal Church in Little Rock where he remains active in the choir, the handbell choir, and occasionally subbing on the organ bench. Bob plays bass clarinet and keyboard in the Little Rock Winds and is active in the local community theater scene.
